This chaplet to St. Patrick is made of beautiful faceted Russian Serpentine Jade beads, capped on each end by glass pearls of silvery green, and wire-wrapped with sterling silver wire. Each set of three beads is connected to the next set with a wire-wrapped link containing a single green pearl. This chain of beads is then attached to a sterling silver Celtic knot Trinity centerpiece. Finally, the chaplet is finished with a reproduction of a late 1800's or early 1900's Catholic medal. According to my supplier, this medal was "fashioned by the ancient practice of striking a solid piece of bronze to allow for extreme clarity and then painstakingly hand dipping each medal three times into sterling silver to ensure a dense triple finish so thick that it can be engraved upon. Finally, old world craftsmen meticulously apply a soft patina which brings out the finest detail."
The entire chaplet is wire-wrapped on a special tarnish-resistant sterling silver wire. Wire-wrapped links cannot come apart the way that common chained rosaries can.
Shipped in a velveteen pouch and gift box, with chaplet instructions.
