Mequteria

American artisan made Mequteria. Although we are Byzantine, not Coptic, we are qualified as designers of these prayer beads because of our own Eastern Catholic background as well as our interaction with people of all different Catholic and Orthodox traditions. Steeped in the Eastern traditions of the Church, we design our Mequteria to reflect the Eastern spirituality from which they were born. We choose materials and colors suited to the cultural and religious heritage of the Catholic and Orthodox Copts. We try to use beads that resemble stones native to Egypt, or colors that match the symbolism of the Mequteria.
